WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE FIRST VISIT?
CONGRATULATIONS!
You are taking an exciting step towards acheiving optimal health.
Please allow 60-90 minutes for your first visit. On this initial visit you will receive an individual consultation. First you will complete the necessary 'new patient' paperwork telling us about yourself and your health history. You will then meet with the Doctor to discuss your health history and current health concerns, ask questions you may have and express your specific healthcare goals. The next step is to complete your initial examination.
Our examination may include reviewing your motions and reflexes, looking for asymmetries and balance, and it may include orthopedic exams and other chiropractic exams. This helps us identify the likely cause(s) of your problem. X-Rays may or may not be necessary and will be discussed with you at the time of your exam.
The doctor will study the results of your exams, and x-rays if they were taken, and give you a complete report of findings at your 2nd visit. We'll tell you what we found, what we can do to help, how long it may take and how much it will cost.
After we review with you what we have found we will make our recommendations for care, discuss your options and inform you of any additional information relating to your situation so that you can make informed decisions.
We will also discuss with you how you can participate in your own recovery, improved health plan or wellness care. Before you leave, we will give you some literature that you can take home to review and share with your family and friends.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GO TO THE 'OUR PRACTICE' TAB TO PRINT AND COMPLETE THE NEW PATIENT FORM AHEAD OF TIME. BRING IT WITH YOU TO THE CLINIC FOR YOUR 1ST APPOINTMENT.
